Export your long section to a 3D IFC model (BIM, Revit)

Turn a longitudinal profile into a georeferenced 3D model in IFC — ready to load in Revit (“Link IFC”) or any BIM tool. At the end we open the file in Autodesk Viewer.

Step by step

  1. 1Open a finished network long section.
  2. 2Click “Export” and open the “3D / BIM” tab.
  3. 3“IFC (Revit / BIM)” is already ticked.
  4. 4Pick a coordinate system (e.g. ETRS89/UTM) — it’s the georeference; the app recalculates nothing.
  5. 5Click “Export 3D” — the IFC file is saved to disk.
  6. 6Open the IFC in Revit (“Link IFC”) or any BIM tool, e.g. Autodesk Viewer.

Do the same in Altivo

Create an account and design network long sections right in your browser.
